The history of Schmierer GmbH goes back on a long tradition . In the year 1932 , the engineer Eugen Schmierer founded the company in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and began repairing measuring instruments. The company was destroyed twice during World War 2. After the rebuilt, the company started again with three workers, not only doing repairs but also producing new pressure and temperature gauges.

After the death of the founder, his son Walter Schmierer, master of mechanics, took over the management on January 01,1960. In 1965, the company had been moved to a new premises in Gross-Gerau, 25 kms south of Frankfurt. The continously enlargement of the product range and the setting up of new manufacturing machinery made it necessary to look for more and modern space.

In the year 2002, the sales engineer Ralf Schmierer took over the company from his father, now representing the third generation.

Today, 20 employees manufacture with the most modern machinery, assembling and tersting equipment quality products with all the knowledge gained over the past decades. Thanks to our experience in construction and production, we can offer a vast variety of pressure- and temperature gauges. We can also offer special solutions individually for our customers. We are proudly supplying to international acting customers from the chemical, petrochemical industry, foodstuffs industry, construction companies and many other industry.

Our final assembly group works with the most modern test and calibration equipments State-of-the art production facilities for the production of pressure gauges and diaphragm seals complete our filling- and testing equipment.

Quality has always played a dominant role from the beginning of the company Schmierer GmbH.

Our mechanical production group drills, mills and turns with high-class CNC and NC controlled machinery. We are only using certified raw materials for use in our products. Our modern production and assembling as well as our high level are the major guarantee for the reliablity of our measuring instruments.

The company is certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008 since 1996.
